No not the signal problems, although they were nearly as comical as him, I thought it was an otherwise good advert for the show. Twitter is mindblowing, someone somewhere in the world will wonder who Comedy Dave is, love it.

So, Dave got through first, which means he got the most votes? That has to be down to "us listeners" and not on actual merit? -- I only watched his performance and snippets of the others, but the others I saw seemed to be of a much higher calibre.
If we all keep voting like this, he could stay in a long time, which can only be a good thing for additional CMS material!

I thought he did very well - like Yudster, I'm impressed by anyone who doesn't fall flat on their face. Also if I had my cynical hat on, I would say that I believe he will stay in regardless of votes... it's obviously in the show's interest for Dave to stay in, so that they talk about it on the show more.
