The random post refers to the film Carrie :)

I disagree that Chris mentioning Sirius definitely means he is planning to move. He has played along with newspaper speculation in the past.

I agree that would be great news - where did you hear it?

The only time you should EVER indicate that you think a woman may be pregnant is if you can actually see a baby coming out of her. Mark this and learn, it will serve you well.

Having said that, Carrie is a journalist and Sam is a producer - one couldn't replace the other, neither would be suitably qualified or experienced.

I would never directly ask a woman if she is pregnant 8O Not unless I particularly wanted a punch in the face or to be cold shouldered.
I wasn't suggesting Carrie would be a replacement for Sam! I just mentioned it in this thread because I didn't consider it worthy of a new one. It may just be the way she is standing, but she looks like she could be up the duff.

David Garrido did his last Newsbeat report as he's off to Sky Sports which could mean a way back for Carrie (more likely than Sam being pregnant)

I wasn't suggesting that Carrie could be a replacement for Sam! I mentioned it in this thread because there was a tenuous link to pregnancy with Carrie.

I am fully aware of the difference between a sports journalist and a producer. I wish I hadnt said anything now :?

If not will she replace David Garrido?
If Carrie does return will Tina stay with Newsbeat?
If Carrie doesn't come back to The Moyles Show will she return to the BBC?

No harm in asking!

No conversations have been had. I'd imagine that will happen when we get back in the new year.

I would definitely like to see Carrie come back. I've always got the feeling that Tina enjoys the show, but that Carrie loved being a part of it. Tina is ok (although she always seems a bit distant to me) but Carrie was brilliant, not least for Celebrity Two-Word Tango

Having said all that, I agree with the earlier poster who thinks that the show will end in the summer. I really hope it doesn't, but I suspect it will. But at least when it does finish we will still have a huge back catalogue to go through :D

And Sam is brilliant too :)

I agree. Chris built up her performance last night into something amazing, but it was just another rendition of "Happiness". It is funny, but it has been done to death. I thought she would have done a different song. Sam's voice is so awful/funny that we deserve to hear it massacre some new songs.

Like my favourite Christmas song Fairytale of New York with Aled for example? When I heard the intro to the song I was like "Oh please god no!" :P Can't look at the song the same way again and everytime I hear Happiness now it reminds me of her awful but funny rendition of it.

I like Tina a lot. It would be a shame if she were to leave the show when Carrie returns........

I think it's just her posture in that picture, one of the girls in my office gets asked by some of the pisstaking blokes in our if she's pregnant every other week or tell her she's getting fat but she's neither, it's just the way she stands sometimes. Luckily she can take the jokes & it they haven't give her a complex, she just swears at them and reminds them how old they are

Oh really, bloody hell I'm sure there's some old Moyles shows from 2000/1 in the archive that he appears, he's been there for ages.

I agree, why should she be forced of the show, Carrie will still have her job when/if she returns, just not on Moyles. She may even decide that she enjoys been a mother & not go back to work, that happened to one of the girls in my office, her son is now 16-17 months old & she has no plans to go back to work yet.

"Forced out"? If Carrie has taken maternity leave, she has every right to go back afterwards to HER job. The person who has been brought in to cover the maternity leave is doing just that, covering maternity leave. I've no idea whether that is what's happening though, not being privy to the terms of Tina's contract.

I think its unlikely Carrie will come back to the Moyles show - I wouldn't be at all surprised if she doesn't go back to anything regular for a fair while. I don't know why, just a feeling. Probably wrong. I would like to see her back, but I do like Tina, I still want her and Chris to get together.

Interesting you say that. I was going to start a thread a few weeks wondering if the two of them were seeing each other. I thought that there was something there, but subsequent comments seemed to indicatee nothing was going on.

No chance of anything happening there. Too big an age gap and Chris jokes about her being fit and everything but he wouldn't get together with her

Isn't Tina late twenties? Not that big a gap.

Apologies Yuds, I didn't mean she shouldn't do her job again but does she necessarily need to be a sports read on Moyles' show? Of course if Tina is only contracted to temporarily fill in then fair enough.

I'm sure Tina is 27, therefore with Chris being 24 (lol) he could be her toyboy!

I didn't mind Carrie at all, but I think Tina has been fantastic. It does help when you know she is very good looking aswell though !!!!
