That was deeply uncomfortable wasn't it? However much she might have laughed it off later as her mum being "dry", Fearne was clearly not at all happy with that call! I now really want to know why her mum felt the need to get that close to humiliating her daughter in public like that. But then I am incredibly nosy.

Since about a week after Chris returned from his week off after the break up with Sophie the shows have been fantastic. I dont think the break up has anything to do with it by the way, that is just my reference point.

It's funny how different perceptions can be. I wouldn't miss an episode up til the middle of this year or thereabouts but since then I think the show has slowly gone downhill to the point I seldom bother to tune in now. There seems to be more and more pointless rambling now. I know there was before but the humour seems very weak these days. Maybe Chris has been distracted with all this contract speculation or maybe it's personal, who knows. If Chris is "off form" there are no strong characters to step up, sadly.

I agree. The ramblings that are essenially pointless are the best things about the show. Most of the pre planned stuff, whilst frequently entertaining, tend to be inferior to the so called "pointless" stuff.

I find that the rambling - while entertaining - isn't really appointment listening. If I miss some, then I don't really mind. However this week i've been staying in bed far too long listening to the interviews.
