Thanks for that Ian. Can always rely on you! :) Kind of a strange request but does anyone have the full show where they messed around with the phone system and then they just died of laughter when "Harry Palmer" came up. It was on the 07 September 07 podcast and the same podcast had Brian & Liam from BB 8 on it etc. So has to be between the 31st August and the 6th September.

Just to let people know, I didn't upload any shows last week because it was Mills instead. And I'm still editing this weeks live audio shows, which I'll upload at the end of the week.

I'm actually recording the visual shows from Freeview as well (I'm having so much fun watching the whole show), although I can't see me being able to rip them with this PC I have. But who knows, maybe I'll post the DVD's to someone if they would be prepared to rip them, possibly edit out the songs, and upload them.

No probs, I don't think Mills would go down too well with many on here anyway

I'm off from Next Wednesday for a week, I'm away on a couple of those days however when I'm around I'll update the list.

What I propose to do is

*Move the most recent list to page 1 with it updated more frequently that previous, what I may do is have a sperate mini list at the top again with the most recent been posted there as well as in the list.
*Create a seperate Excel or Word document with a little report of sorts giving a description as to a guest, feature or topic that occurs during that particular show although this will take a time to create.

Anyone like the sound of this, I'll try & post an example of what I mean over the next few days. :)

We could all help with providing info on the shows as it may take a listening to of each show to find out who the guests are and any other useful info.

Any help will of course be appreciated :) I can list down the 1999-2002 shows but anything past that I'm not that up on, I'll try to come up with a template of the weekend of what I mean :)

DarroM wrote:For description of shows like guests, would be best for the more recent shows to go on their archives on the chris moyles page on radio 1 and go through their timeline.

Good idea, I'll be honest I'm kind of lost as to who was on what, especially of the recent stuff, I should have done the list a long while ago TBH, plus the list needs tidying up quite a bit, I shall work on this come next Thursday (although that obviously depends on the Arsenal result & how drunk I get in Wolverhampton )

Think it looks good but will take a lot of work.

Also @IanpWilliams when you upload the shows this week are the cee lo green parodies gonna be edited out or kept in as i have only had time so far to download Monday's and Tuesday's and may not get the rest done before they disappear off iplayer (especially as I'm struggling to find Wednesday's as i cant remember what time it got played.)

I agree, it is going to take a while, I'll work on listing the shows that are on Page 1 so then I can at least delete that list & move the current list to there, what I could do I suppose is save the list & if anyone wants to fill it out for a particular era then if they let me know I can send a copy of the file for them to fill in that particular era.

Just been playing about with this a bit more:

Any better this time round, not sure whether or not to split the show types up or not.

You know they really should they give me a job I think :) I'm pretty sure I can edit audio better than Matt Fincham anyway...

Do the team know about this massive archive on here? They may be impressed and it could come in use to them at some point.

Also I think it may be time for an update even if its not a massive one. Maybe just copy the latest list on to the first page with the new shows and then it could be a work in progress from there perhaps?

I believe their archive is in a bit of a mess, as they were trying to look for something in particular a few years back and they couldn't find it (a bit like the BBC TV archive of the 70's then )

I'll update the list in a few moments, even if it's on page whatever we're on now
