i love this show.
and Moyles got a mention tonight.

'if this is the answer what is the question?' '7 Years.' and some floppy haired nobface quipped "How long before I actually care that Chris Moyles has been paid?"

Ha.

I like mock the week but there seems to be more and more people on who it looks like they have dragged off the street. Usually unfunny *

The weirdest thing was realising that the "Russell Howard" that was doing the bike ride thing last year was "the unbelievably tedious and terminally unfunny young boy who just tries to copy Hugh Dennis from Mock the Week".

I must qualify this by saying I hate him primarily because hes a Kopite but Russell Howard's act appears to consist of making stupid noises, pulling funny faces and talking about his mum and dad. His brain appears to have stopped developing past the age of 7.

Russell Howard's live shows are far better than his Mock the Week performances. Also, I love Mock the Week, but as the host, Dara O'Briain doesn't really get the chance to be as funny as he can be, but the things he does come out with are usually gems. I think he's brilliant.

I liked the curly haired fellas routine on Subway last night.

Russell Howard is Koppite? He's from BRISTOL for gods sake. And I also love Dara O'Briain, I have a bit of a crush on him if I'm honest.....

He's going to be on the last in the series apparently, it's because he's been too busy lately.

Kopite you say? He must be from Cornwall or Wales then.

Apparently he was named one of Zoo magazines top 10 comedians.

There's a glowing recommendation.

I think he's been working on filming the new series of Good News.

Russell Howard has a very positive way of doing comedy. I like him for this.
Frankie Boyle is getting boring and repetative. I am going to see him at the end of November though.
Dara O'Brein (sp?) is easily the best comedian I have seen this year and arguably one of the best ever.

Why is this not in Ramble?

I agree with all this. When I saw Dara a few months ago tears of laughter were actually coming down my face. Live stand-up hasn't had that effect on me since the first time I saw Eddie Izzard do Glorious back in the 1990s. I'm gonna see Hugh Dennis with Steve Punt in January too, that should be interesting, haven't seen him do anything other than panel shows and sitcoms since the Mary Whitehouse Experience days.

I'll have to join in with the Dara O'Briain love. Everything I've seen him do is brilliant. I have high hopes for the Apprentice: You're Fired! now he is hosting. For Mock the Week, Milton Jones seems to be the highlight of every the show every time he is own.

Mock the Week isn't as funny as it used to be(and not because Frankie Boyle left).
Most of the jokes aren't as laugh out loud as they used to be and Milton Jones seems to be on it every other week now...

Sorry about this not being in Ramble, the reason i made this thread was about Moyles getting a dig from the floppy haired guy :)
