Is it just me, or does anyone else think the news about this years South Korean Grand Prix, combined with the announcement of next years Indian Grand Prix - on a circuit which hasn't layed any tarmac yet, wreakes of a 'back hander' for Bernie?!

Is it not farcical that at this stage of the season we face the potential loss of a race, which could totally effect the outcome of this season; which is the best GP season for years?!

And i'm not being funny, but why add a circuit to the calendar for next year that hasn't even been constructed yet? I work in constuction (kinda) and know they face a massive task to complete a full circuit, and facilities in just 12 months.

Call me a bluff old traditionalist, but would it not make sense to add circuits to the F1 calendar ONCE THEY ARE COMPLETE?!!!!

Bernie, you old money grabbing *, * off and leave F1 alone.

I think its because, they ain't going to spend £100m on a circuit that might not get used! They design a track, put it forward. If its accepted they build it, or in the Korean case, try to build it

Oh yeah, I get that. But approve it, build it, THEN add it to the calendar.... No?

Bernie long ago lost any pretence that he was doing this for any other reason than to make a truckload of cash. Why else would you want to put Grands Prix in countries that have no real interest in the sport, but whose governments are willing to pay millions upon millions for the publicity?

Exactly Toph, hence my request for Big Bad Bernie to jeff off. Signing up races at non existant circuits does not benefit the sport.

After the last two results King Lewis can't afford the loss of 25% of the remaining races.

Lewis isn't going to win this season now, not barring a minor miracle.

Surely his job is to bring as much money into the sport as possible in order to make it sustainable? Isn't the FIA ultimately responsible for the sport itself?

That's not the reason he does it - he does it for his own pocket.
