I disagree with you on this when you apply that to The Duck Register. People are texting in to get their names read out, not to compliment the feature or discuss it. Outside of the people who text in I would be amazed if there is any significant support for it. How can thee be anything entertaining in it for anyone else? There is simply no enjoyment factor to hearing strangers names read out to a piece of music.
Also, how could anyone with normal, common first and second names be sure that it was their name read out and not some other, random Steven Thompson who also text in.
A pointless feature in my opinion.
