Wow. First off, Congratulations Catherine and Toph!
I'm rather gutted I've missed out on so much gossip - it is evidently not good to go absent for many many months at a time - you miss a lot of news (i.e. two people from the forum getting together & getting engaged!).
I should also send late congratulations for the engagement as well... Congratulations!
I hope all three of you are doing well and with that I shall bid you farewell for a while whilst I lurk

Not too emotional? I was a total wreck. I rang my mum 20 minutes after the birth and I was crying so much, she was convinced something had gone horribly wrong for a moment.

Anyway - thank you to all of you for your congratulations. Unfortunately it looks like Reuben has an infection at the moment, so he's being kept in the neonatal unit for the time being, It's horrible seeing him with lots of wires attached, but we're hoping he can come out very shortly, so I'll keep you all updated.

Reuben is out of the incubator, but still on the neonatal ward. Progress - without wishing to speak too soon, we are hopeful he'll be out tomorrow.
