All the guests recently have been fantastic and this is coming from someone who prefers it to just be Chris & the team, but with Sheridan Smith & Alan Carr in the next two days, is it to much of a good thing?

I too have enjoyed the guests so far, and I also like Alan Carr, but there are far too many on at the moment. With the exception of the Stephen Fry interview, I would have just prefered a normal show with team banter. One guest per week is enough for me.

I completely agree, I've barely listened to the middle part of the shows over the last few weeks because of the guests. Once in a while is fine, but not every day!

with the christmas promotions coming soon, there will be many people vying for airtime - and if the people they like don't come on the breakfast show, they'll only get ratings on other stations.

maybe bad for the fans, but better for the ratings.

Didn't you enjoy the Will Farrell interview?

Yes, I liked them all apart from Gordon Ramsey, but I would just prefer the normal team banter. The past week or so has hardly been bad radio, but I listen for Chris and the team and not music or guests. As I say, though, the odd guest here and there is a good thing- just not every day.

Sorry peeps, I disagree, I've really been enjoying the influx of guests recently. nice to hear a few new voices on the show. Some have been funnier than others, but all have been good....

I am loving the 'virgin guests' this week.

Little bit sick of Davina, Ramsey, Carr etc: on the show.

Is the high amount of guests over the last couple of weeks down to Chris not wanting to talk too much about his personal life at the moment? Wouldn't surprise me if so, and perfectly understandable and acceptable, especially considering the way he lashed out this morning, I bet he's glad of the attention being on someone else for a change.

I like it when they have guests but agree that every day is a bit much. Also I don't see the point in having the same person in many times - much as I like Gordon Ramsey, it's a tad dull after a couple of times in my opinion. They're bound to have a lot of guests this time of year, promoting their seasonal work :)

Having said that, I loved the Will Farrell interview and the Alan Carr one should be good.

I'll be honest I do rather like the guests, however the likes of Sheridan Smith & Stephen Fry interest me more than Alan Carr & Gordon Ramsey as it's their first time on the show and so the whole conversation is new & fresh.

I take back what I said about Alan Carr, you cannot have to much of this man.

Loved Alan on the show yesterday and being able to watch is a bonus :)

I have been enjoying the guests over the past while. I didnt expect to like Tinie Tempha (sp?) but he came across as a really nice, polite and respectful guy who seemed to actually listen to the show.

I dont mind the influx of new guests, been really good, except for Gordon Ramsey and Alan Carr, just fed up of them coming on so many times, Alan Carr is just annoying.
