Why its a mildly amusing feature which makes young people (their target demographic) laugh, in a similar way to Dick 'n Dom's "boggies"

I would prefer 2 word tango. At least it has a fun element to it.

I know that's why I purposely said it :)

I do wonder if it failed somewhat second time round because Chris & Dave perhaps didn't have as much heart (apologies can't think of a better word at the mo) in it second time round so just did it fill the gap. I wasn't a regular listener in 2003 so I don't know why it came back or how well it played on air that much, except from the few clips there are the callers just seem to be more thicker than they were back in 1999/2000

I agree. But then I think fart sound effects and the 'big deal' made about them aren't funny either.

But I also think it's probably not 'for me'.

I'd be much happier if it was shifted right to the start of the show, so I could snooze past it, but I can live with trying to time my snoozing better.

Westwood was right, it's a poor replacement for Where Am I? Celebrity Yawn would be better...

So will I. It's hardly going to make the station's target audience (15-29) laugh is it?

Did anyone else think that this mornings contestant, Louise, was lying about her job ? She never spoke a word of french until one of the team spoke and she repeated it. Her excuse that it was to 'early' to speak french seemed a bit poor imo.

I do not give a flying fig if the contestant invents a job, but if you are going to lie, say something that is plausable.

You're assuming that being able to speak good French is an ability which you need in order to TEACH French. Unfortunately it isn't. I know a modern languages teacher who, apart from English, actually only speaks German fluently. He teaches French and Spanish from his own rudimentary understanding, and the text books provided. Its no wonder we have such a crap record in terms of languages teaching in this country really.

We were taught French in our German lessons because our teacher decided "none of you would probably choose German anyway". Daft cow.

I didn't know that.

My French teacher was French, couldn't understand a word she said, but at least she taught us French.

What a shambles our school have become.

I chose German at school, and I liked it. In retrospect though, I should have gone with French even though I didn't want to as it would have helped me better with learning Spanish (which itself wasn't an option).

Shame I would ask for a mug of the women that works with chris on the news that they were talking about the other day.

Every looser should get a matt mug too.
