Chris made a pointed comment on Friday when talking about Dermot O'Leary (celebrity raspberry), mentioning the fact that Dermot had been with his girlfriend for a very long time yet they weren't married/didn't feel the need to get married.

It's very sad, I hope they're both ok.

Why? He can do whatever the * he likes, he doesn't need you to tell him what he should or shouldn't do

I just think that he should because there are many concerned fans on here and other places who are maybe still unsure as to whether this is true or not and he is constantly going to get asked this question so he may as well just clear it up, like Vernon did on his show when all the stories about him came out in the newspapers.

Its really horrible when you are in bits after a breakup, whatever the circumstances. Being in bits after a breakup in public, knowing that everyone is going to be wondering whether you'll say something, how you'll sound, how you'll look - and having to broadcast to millions trying to sound like nothing is wrong - I don't think I could do it.

The show was great this morning. I am enjoying the David Haye interview.

Who knows what is is going through, he obviously doesn't want to talk about it. Sure, breaks ups can be sad but they can also be liberating. I've been in these situations and felt great a few hours later - the relief of the pressures of the relationship being lifted. With the help of good friends and a positive attitude you can be back on track in no time.

10 weeks on, and having hurtled out of a 5 year relationship still isn't getting easier. given chris' on air style, i wouldn't be surprised if he flirted a lot less for a while. when there's the confidence of knowing there's no pressure (as there's no realistic chance of anything happening), and just many other reasons.
