I've got a Desire, but couldn't find a deal for any less than £30 with the handset free. Mine is £30 with Orange and I get free unlimited texts and internet and I think 300 minutes.

I'm due an upgrade, and am torn between the Desire and the Samsung Galaxy S. The Desire had won, but I read today that it only has 512MB of internal storage, which isn't great if you want to install lots of apps. So I'm swaying towards the Samsung now, although still not certain. I'm just waiting for Orange to have some in stock.

I had to apply for my old position only slightly tweaked and most importantly, permanent. So I now am a full time, real, permanent librarian. Dr J's work is weird since Oracle bought Sun, but he's busy and happy. We are now just starting to look for a house to buy since Dr J has saved up enough for a down payment. Our current apartment is getting repainted on the outside, which makes leaving easier. The current guinea pigs are legal since Dr J told the landlord I was depressed and needed a guinea pig to cheer me up. Ha! Lies.
