Sorry if this is old news, as I have only caught a few shows last week (and missed today) (rest stored up on Sky+ to listen to) but has it been revealed already on the show that Comedy Dave is doing the voice work for Coach Trip ? Apologies if so.

Wiki says David Quantick is the current narrator - obviously we know it's not always correct, but there ya go.

Apparently Dave is taking over from Dave Quantick. But as I have never heard of either the programme or the current narrator, I could very easily be wrong.

Coach Trip is a really good programme. When you first think of the idea you think why the hell would I want to watch that, but its compulsive viewing a bit like Come Dine With Me.

Basically, its a programme about 8 couples who go around Europe on a coach (haha). They have a tour guide called Brendan Sheerin. Each day they have two activities to do and at the end of the day they have to vote a couple of. Once a couple gets a red card, (you get a yellow card first) then they are of the coach and geSts replaced by a new couple. At the end the couples of vote who they would like win the show (which is a holiday hahaha). Some people say it will replace Big Brother ...

I think Dave will be quite good at it. The narrator is not normally the one who makes the jokes like come dine with me, Brendan is the one that does that. I can't wait to watch it

Blasphemy! I love Harry Hill (well his TV Burp show anyway). Coach Trip is a good show to watch even though I don't watch it all the time but it beats some of the crap that is on TV that time of the day and at least it ain't endless repeats of Murder She Wrote and Diagnosis Murder that the good ol BBC have on every flaming weekday afternoon. Will probably pay a bit more attention now that Dave is narrating.

There was an advert for the new series of Coach Trip on earlier, but I wasn't paying attention to it.

I've seen a couple of episodes from the first series, and they were a bit naff.
The comparison to Big Brother is spot-on.
Plenty of over-acting for the cameras, young people being "Zany"!, older people being quiet whilst sucking their toffees, and always a fair amount of camp men.
And the guy that's their tour guide really gets on my tit.

But if Dave is doing the voice over, I might just watch it.
He might make it bearable.

Are they not mentioning it on the show because it isn't BBC ? I thought Chris frequently mentioned his chatshow, and Shed Sports with Dave on Nuts. Or maybe I just missed the mention on the radio.

They will probably mention it next week when it starts - if they didn't mention it today (was late for work so missed the show). I think they are only not allowed to mention it when it is a commercial product - I don't think Chris was allowed to mention his books on his show too much once they came out
