I usually use Audacity, which although isn't the best one out there, it's good enough. What I usually do is after Moyles & co stop talking I leave about 1-2 seconds of music & fade out the 3rd second go to the end of the song & three seconds before Moyles talks again I fade up the music again & just snip out the offending music
I did try other programmes but found Audacity the best as it's a very simple & easy to use.
In all honesty I think it's something that's been "imposed" on Moyles, of recent he has commented that Mills is supposed to do his (Chris') show when he's off on holiday but he doesn't but "what can you do" (I believe was Chris' words, of which he said in a not too happy tone).
Johnny Vaughan & Lisa Snowdon for me have been an OK alternative, they're no Moyles or Tarrant but there certainly much better than Mills.

It automatically converts the files to mp3, so to listen to them I can just drag and drop them into my phone (I don't use itunes), and they're also handy for if I get behind on the Tedious. For the past 2wks I've just been listening to bits of old shows - there are always bits I've missed, enough to pass my 45min journey to work. I have had a go at editing out the music and news from a show using wavepad, but it's time consuming and fiddly. I meant to talk to Johnny1989 actually about how he edits the old shows he uploads.

Starting to dislike Moyles a bit for insisting on Mills covering his holidays...
