Have to say, the R1 documentary that Chris did a few months back was quite an eye opener. Not being a listener of R1 back then, compareing the Coxy of today to the character she was when she was at the helm of the breakfast show, you would almost swear it was a completely different person.

I've just been listening back to some Coxy, why didn't Radio 1 give her the Live Lounge gig, she's so down to Earth and lovely, at least she turns up for work.

I'm downloading all of these shows so that when Thicket Cotton returns I have something else to listen to

I'm rather interested in getting some of his later Radio 1 stuff as well, but oddly enough (like Mark & Lard up until a few months ago) his material seems to be short on the net, which may explain why I now capture as many shows of the DJ's I like as I can (especially Moyles, Radcliffe & Maconie, Marc Riley, Jon Holmes & Sara Cox post Breakfast, although I would be interested in hearing some of her Breakfast shows).

I only listened to her for about over an hour yesterday but what I heard I didn't mind. She seems down to earth and doesn't annoy me like Cotton does. Like someone said before about getting Cotton to move to weekends, I think that would be a lot preferable to people here due to the fact that she is away half the bloody time from her show doing stuff in the US or whatnot. It should actually be called the "Whose taking over for Fearne Cotton this week!" show. I would like to heard these infamous breakfast shows she did back during her tenure there since it would probably provide more entertainment than most of the Radio 1 crew nowadays.

I won't listen to her now on a regular basis mainly because I just listen to Chris during my last hour or so of nights and I am sure some of you listen to Radio 1 and that because you are working during the day.

I cant believe anyone would prefer Fearne to either Sara Cox or Annie Mac. Both have covered for her recently and both have been way better. The Radio 1 bosses must be deaf or thick.

I don't know how they let Fearne keep her job there when she consistantly takes time off to film programmes for other channels. Doesn't show much loyalty or dedication. Its like her side job while she works to 'make it big on TV'

People complain about how much Moyles is paid, at least he's on air all the time and just has the same holiday as the other presenters!
