Is anyone else finding the new format of the online show running order just a bit of a mess. Between different chapters, song titles-some of which seem to be wrong while other times are song titles are simply missing (such as kings of leon from this morning), theres basically just too much going on that page.

Compared to the old style of running order e.g http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles ... oday.shtml the current style is just a bit too clever! I know this is probably just a minor peev, but since I don't usually listen live since the show isen't on FM where I am, the running order was handy to quickly see what bits you could skip over stuff such as any John Barrowman, where am I, or Dr.Who interviews for instance.

Basically why is this

Based on that they all stopped talking at 07:40 , and then just played 19 songs in a row, including B.O.B and Denis Ferrer twice!!

The new running orders are terrible. They may as well not bother with them as after the first 30 mins-which they do tend to describe in detail- the rest of the order is just a tracklist.

And what is the point of this chapter thing? Its not as if its a great hardship to just get a running order(as they used to be) and just fast forward to the point you wanted to listen to.

This change really is a * up in my opinion.

Have nothing against the chapters themselves. I remember when they started them first it was just separate at the end of the running order which was fine and the list of songs played after that. Surely it wouold be very simple for them to go back to that style (running order,chapters,tracklisting)

Like on todays show for example where they have chapter 3 as

World Cup Weekenders Competition(14.29)

you have no clue as to what actual time it was played at. Basically the whole page needs to be tidied up to because its approaching useless in its current form.

Anyway can we blame Matt Fincham for this???

I dont have a real objection to chapters , but I just dont see the point. Anyway, they can be ignored, but there is no reason not to return the old structure of the running order.

Sorry for the thread bump but...after over a year, the old running order has finally returned! Hopefully this marks the end of confusing chapters and lists of songs that never seemed to be in the actual order played!
