Completely agree. A bit of scrappy presentation is totally tolerable when the person posting is saying something worth reading. Unfortunately most of the people who do so are illiterate in every sense of the word, in that not only can they not express themselves comprehensibly, they actually don't have much to express in the first place. To be honest, that's far more the reason they get given a hard time than the quality of their spelling.

I love you Boboff. I don't think I've told you that lately.

I think someone has already brought this up in this thread, but it's worth repeating.

What happens on The Chris Moyles Show when a guest is late?

A-ha!

DevilsDuck wrote:Hi Skye, welcome to the forums

Most of the people on here are big fans and dont really get themselves emotionally involved in Chris life, but will express an opinion on something they dont like as much as they will express an opinion on something they do like.

E.g. The lateness thing bugs some people on here and others just dont care.

As for our mental health.....the fact that you have a number for a great therapist makes me think you will fit right in!

DD

P.s. Dont feed the yuds

P.p.s I like you, stick around

Aww thanks. I wasn't really expecting a warm welcome as a newbie.

Ps - In response to your PS - I have duly noted your point and shall be proceeding with caution!

Yo yo. Most of us kick about in the Ramble forum. We ended up here cos we enjoy the show, some of us talk about it more than others, but mainly we talk nonsense in Ramble. Get yer bum bum in there and we'll get on just dandy.

:)

Man, I could go a banana toffo or 20.

Side splitting stuff by the way, that "rant". It's been mentioned on each show since I believe! Chris asked today if any of the team has had anyone mention it to them.

Thought he was late for a few seconds on today's show (Friday) but it was a joke.

What to listen to now Cotton is on? Anyone else notice the "MORNING!" is getting louder and higher pitched?

The time period after the CM show, from 1000-1300 is, I believe, THE reason the iPlayer was invented. Try it, its ace.

Being late for your own show when you have to travel across London to get there is lame enough.. but that was really lame...

Have you never been late for anything, ever?

1) I can honestly say I have never been late for anything in my own house.. if I'm already there. Never.... ever.

2) Chris read my post out on the show, and Chris, Dave and Dom agreed I had a good point. :-)

I have, but never because I couldn't be arsed to get up when my alarm went off. Last time was because I was in hospital with a sick baby, time before that it was because I was in a car crash. And THAT wasn't my fault either. That's going back about six years now.

Mrs. LaFleur says that you've been early for a few things though.

WHEEEEY!

i kid. i've slept 3 hours in the last 2 days.

also : biggy spuds, you're misunderstanding the point jimlafleur is trying to make, and oversimplifying it to the point of

"if you've ever been late for anything in your life, then it makes you a hypocrite for commenting on the very specific situation"

I'm as human as anyone - the only thing I have which you possibly don't is a reasonably well developed sense of responsibility. And possibly a decent job.
