This entire post is utterly god damn ridiculus. Travis Bickle needs to be locked up in an asylum. It's people like him who snap and kill the people he works with.

So bloody what if Chris was late for his show? He's not a god damn machine and just because he's an entertainer people seem to forget that he is also human and can make mistakes. I'm 100% sure that everyone has been late for something. If you feel a need to complain about something so petty and childish as this then go and listen to someone else in the morning.

In other words shut the hell up and complain about something worthwhile like poverty or unnecessary wars.

Being late for your own show when you have to travel across London to get there is lame enough.. but that was really lame...

Have you never been late for anything, ever?

I think you will find that we actually love the show and what Chris does 99% of the time. Moyles only ever reads out the negative stuff from this site.

And why are you here moaning about other people moaning? On the scale of pointless activities that has to be top of the list.

My Only Complaint with Chris is that he's British. As staying up now to listen to a show this awesome that comes on here at 1:30 AM here and doesn't end until 5 AM sucks and it certainly much better live.

Just brace yourselves for the day the snivelling, illiterate, unfunny, douche bag that is Scott Mills is let loose on the breakfast show...... you'll soon be begging for Chris to come back.... late or otherwise.

hey chris ive got the answer to all your problems, may cost you listeners tho. Just talk for 2 minutes which other djs barely manage to muster then play songs, cos im sure hearing thast plugged playlist song is FAR better than actually having some fluent chat which 99% of the time is funny (apart from the cooking and exercise)..........nail hangng off,.........,fdsfgsdfgfgadd

I love the irony of the fact that I missed the start of the show this morning (and therefore the start of the rant) because I couldn't get out of bed!

Oddly enough this is probably the best post of this entire thread.

You want irony? I missed the start of the show this morning because I had to be up and out of the house at 4.30 in order to go to an island 15 miles from where I live to set up a training course for 20 people and then get home by half past seven because my husband needs the car for work and my bus goes at 7.45. Now THAT'S irony.

I don't know what 'red dead redemption' is, but if I were your employer and you were late every day, I would give you warnings and if that didn't solve the problem, I would fire you.

Quite obviously this was a light hearted ploy not to be taken seriously...

Also Red Dead Redemption is a recently released game.

Well whatever - it does happen.

I wasn't sure whether to make this point or not, but I will because I doubt Chris will revisit the thread (at least on air); in response to the point he made about resting for three minutes after the alarm has gone off, I also like to do this - I just set my alarm early enough that this is OK. I also set the radio alarm on the other side of the room so that I have to get up and turn it down (it's on very loud, then I get up and turn it down so it doesn't wake Cat up and get back into bed for a bit.) I then lay there for a bit and after about three or four minutes I'm generally so pissed off with listening to Dev that I have to get up and turn it off anyway.

Literally this morning as I switched the radio on the words coming out of Chris' mouth were something like "...so let's see what the people on moyles.net are saying about this", and I just groaned and then lay there praying that it wasn't something I had posted about. As they started talking more about his lateness I realised it wasn't a topic I had particularly contributed to and I was so relieved, I still remember the horror of when he read out some of a discussion I'd posted in about listening figures...argh. When he read Foots' "shut up yer moany cow" post i laughed out loud...and then I got up. (Ironically I was also almost late myself this morning - but not due to not being able to get out of bed, it was realising that the top and shorts I had picked out did not go together and having to have a last minute outfit re-think.)
