Another one for tonight:

Friday 12th October 2001

Team: Chris, Dave, Will & Lizzie
Show Status: Complete Show
Download: Friday 12th October 2001
Notes: Firstly apologies for the sound quality, another show that suffers from my "the more bass & treble, the better" stupidity of my late teens
* Little Bonus at the start, Mark & Lard's "Non Essential Selection" at the beginning (considering Mark & Lard material is very hard to come by I though I would keep it in)
* Chris & Dave question a clip in EastEnders regarding Mark Radcliffe & a nice little handover results between Chris & Dave and Mark & Lard.
* Jon shamelessly advertises the first series of 2DTV & talks about his advert he had to do for Suggs whilst he's away
* Chris & Lizzie have a bet on the Leeds Vs Liverpool game
* Jon's voice talents are put to full use in this show today, firstly with a new feature, called Hymn-O-Grams (of which Comedy Dave completely misunderstands at first), then later on advertise Radio 1 TV & other random Radio 1 events and also a Frank Sinatra/Robbie Williams sing-a-long (best to listen to that one yourself)
* The Team discuss a story in the Daily Star about Robbie Williams, which they ripped to shreads as been a complete non-story
* The Team also discuss some mobile phone download pictures that seem rather graphic
* Another edition of "Whose Round Is It Anyway?"
* Chris' then girlfriend (Ana Boulter) pops in to give him a little gift.
* I should point out that all but one Newsbeat bulletin has been removed, this is because by this point (a month & a day after the 11th September attacks) the team seem to have been "banned" from talking to the Newsbeat newsreaders, which was still in force in February/March 2002.

More soon :)

Three more:

Monday 14th September 2009

Tuesday 15th September 2009

Wednesday 16th September 2009

I got the day wrong on the Internet Archive description for 16th Sept - it was really a Wednesday (like this forum post says), not a Friday. But I've never been able to edit the metadata on Internet Archive.

No problem Ian, I've added them to the archive list, I myself have never worked out how to edit it myself unfortunately (I'm sure one of mine is labelled up incorrectly)

MOAR!!!!

Here we go then, two more shows, both from 2000.

Tuesday 4th January 2000
Team Info: Chris, Dave, Rhys & Aled (not heard only mentioned) with Carolyn on newsbeat
Show Status: Last 15 minutes missing, the rest in tact
Download: Tuesday 4th January 2000
Notes: First Afternoon Show of 2000, Melinda is off ill so Aled fills in for him (although Aled is not heard on air he gets the odd mention), this is also a re-record & re-edit of a show that i contributed to the Sound Vault way back in late 2008
* The team talk about what they did over the Christmas period
* Chris reads passages from Mark Radcliffe's "Showbusiness Diary Of A Rock & Roll Nobody" which features a chapter on Producer Rhys
* Chris mocks his former radio station that he used to work at, in Leeds, after listening to it over Christmas
* Chris talks about his latest visit to Elland Road (home to Leeds United, for those of you who didn't know)
* Advert for the Pato Banton weekend on Radio 1 (Three words, one artist, Pat, O, Baton)
* Another round of Viaduct
* Another round of True Or False (unfortunately cuts off during second caller)

Saturday 9th December 2000
Team Info: Chris, Dave, Rachel & Producer Richard with special Guest Kylie Minogue
Show Status: First half only
Download: Saturday 9th December 2000
Notes: *Today's special guest is Kylie Minogue, unfortunately this is not the full interview, however I managed to capture several links with her on the show
* Chris has a go at Rachel over the quality of some od the prizes on offer, he & Dave also mock Rachel's "Space Bra" & that she "ran the London Marathon"
* Chris models an Eminem Basketball shirt (rather badly, judging by Dave's reaction)
* A round of "Whose In The Dog House?" (Third caller is the funniest)
* Another round of "Girls Going To Football" (of which Kylie seems to be impressed by Dave's whoosing sound effects)

i posted these newsbeat editions a few years ago on here but i think the original links to the radio 1 pages that they were on are long gone. so i've converted them to mp3 and uploaded them to the internet archive.

newsbeat 2.30pm:-
http://www.archive.org/download/BbcRadi ... eat230.mp3

newsbeat 3.00pm:-
http://www.archive.org/download/BbcRadi ... eat300.mp3

Yes I've been travelling with the new Doctor & Amy for the last few weeks ;)

Corrected now, should have said 2001, I keep doing that with the 2001 shows at present, bad force of habit

Been neglecting putting up some of the ones I have. Should have done a few during my time off but too busy gaming and that. Will start putting up more often since I have a few from the last few months of 2009 and a good few from 2010.

I know what you mean, there are far too many great games out there :D I'll get more uploaded today.

I'll try me best, over this weekend :)

I'll be honest I've really not been in the mood for editing my classic shows that I have, I'm in two minds in letting others edit them for me (full credit will be given of course), that's if anybody's interested of course

It's possible I could edit some if you wanted someone to. I'm editing each show every day now, which is obviously ongoing. So eventually I will get everything up from Nov 09 to present day. I notice that the ones you have listed which are waiting to be edited seem to be the afternoon show. Was that show any good? I never listened back then. I missed a lot of the breakfast shows from the early years too, so the more of those I can get the better.

If you're up for it then sure, I'll get some onto a temporary download host this weekend for you. The afternoon show was great, especially between 2000-2001 (luckily I have a lot here), unfortunately all shows after 16th April 2001 are 2hrs45mins, and unless stated (x2T) are the first half only however there's still enough entertaining stuff on there. I think it's the sheer number of them that need doing that is putting me off. If you're up for doing some then I'll send some your way.

Incidently if anybody else wants to help editing them just let me know on this thread & I'll send them your way. IIRC I think J.E.D. was interested at one point as well, if you still are J.E.D. just let me know on this thread, same goes for everybody else who wants to have a go. :)
