I'm listening to the opening link from a few weeks back. Are there people out there who find it as weird as the team did when Dave said he didn't have his hair washed before he had it cut?

Personally its my opinion that a proper barbers doesn't. I mean, I don't find it pleasant having someone else wash my har, I can wash my own hair and I don't want to spend more than 30mins having my haircut.

Predominately having your hair washed is a girly thing, discuss...

Unless there was a previous thread on this that I didn't find in which case, link please.

I'm a girl and I don't get mine washed. But then I hate people touching my hair full stop, I only get a cut every six months or so anyway. Plus it costs more.

Well up until very recently I went to a barbers where they didn't wash it, but now I go to a proper hair dressers where they do. I don't find it uncomfortable someone else washing my hai, it's just uncomfortable putting your head back in the bowl for 5 minutes.

Well later on in the show the texts they read out seemed to show it isn't as rare as they thought it was. So I guess that answers that, thanks for the replies though.

My other half washes his own before he goes to the barbers. I know a few people who let their hairdresser wash it for them too.

Na, I don't think it's just bollocks, I think it's ALL bodily hair.

I don't think I've ever had my hair washes at the barbers. I tend to wash it myself before I go anyway.

I'd wash it beforehand if it's going to cost extra, but otherwise I love getting it washed... the sinks are a lot more comfortable these days and I find it a really pleasant experience.

I wash it before I go and obviously then after as well to wash all the loose hair out.
