What do you mean by upload? Upload to a web site?

This isn't a Windows problem, it's a lack of whatever application you're used to using to get the photos from your camera to your computer. What program did you use before?

I never used an application with Windows XP, I used my Camera as an external storage drive and copied and pasted the relevant pictures. Maybe that could be worth a try on Windows 7?

I have Windows 7 on my new laptop and I like it. very stable so far and quick. Much better than Vista which was about as good as Windows ME!

Hmm, good point. What's the point in going for something that does not crash, runs like the speed of light, runs the "Windows" program better than a PC and basically does what it says on the box?

It takes the fun out of everything :D :D :D

...and on this occasion so are you!

Seriously though - I don't actually mind windows. I've got XP on my mac (plus Linux flavours). You can have both worlds.
However I switched mainly to Mac some years ago. I recommend it wholeheartedly - it's quite good really.
And recently I upgraded the O/S. I took a backup but in reality it did everything automatically, then rebooted then - voila - new version. Last time I tried that with Windows I decided to do a full install in the end - if you know what I mean ;-)

To windows users - I'd avoid Vista like the plague and wait a few months for '7' to bed in a bit more before hopping over. Or go to a Mac (!)

I'm just wondering if there is anyway to upload photos like you could in XP, seeing that's what I'm used to as I'm going mad with it putting all my photos into new folders despite whatever I change the settings too, and not being able to rotate the photos before uploading them and stuff?

I use Aperture and Bridge, anyways windows 7 has Photo Gallery built in you can import/upload photos from there.

I don't go "whoop whoop" everytime Steve Jobs appears at one of his 'Keynote' speeches. If that helps? 8)

The Quiz Night I was in a couple of weeks ago had a picture round, and Steve Jobs was one of the pictures to identify. I almost let the point go rather than admit that I knew who he was. But I wanted to win........

We came third out of 25 teams. We were robbed. Robbed by people - by people.......by people who are cleverer than us. Hmph.
