I currently have a stupidly long commute to and from work (2hours).

In the mornings I listen to Chris and the team, but in the afternoons I do whatever I can not to listen to Sc.....Sc......I cant say it, anyway the idiot on radio 1 drive time.

So, I normally listen to podcast, but as they are normally weekly, by Tuesday/Wednesday I have done my regular ones!

Can anyone recommend any decent podcasts?

I currently listen to:
Smodcast
The Sunday Supplement
The Ricky Gervais Podcasts
Chris Moyles Podcast
Alan Davies Up for Grabs podcast

thanks

Someone recommended the Richard Herring one, As It Occurs To Me, recently, but I must say I haven't heard it. I usually watch tv episodes on my mp3 player on my commute.

If you want a totally random one that is about 1/3 of the shows contents then Jon Holmes on BBC 6 Music is one I'd recommend. However that depends if you like political satire/piss taking or not :)

I'll give it a go, I can watch IPlayer on my phone, just buffers everytime you go out of signal plus I'm a bus people watcher, so I listed to radio/podcast and watch silly people do silly things!

Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode's film reviews on 5 Live, weekly. It would probably still be worth it if you didn't even watch films.
