Exactly, I've never understood that nonsense that Martyn Davies (ITV Weatherman, if he's still there?) always spouts that line out every year on ITN News / London Tonight.

I'm hoping to go to spend Xmas in London, hopefully gonna take the train up there tomorrow. Depends on how my Dad is though. I'll let you know if we have any snow in London, or more specifically the Romford area. Here in Plympton, we've had hail this morning, but quite a bit of snow around lunchtime on December the 19th
