Its such a shame I liked his show. I think you had to listen to his show often to get the jokes although if you do listen to it every day you soon get bored as its very repetitive.

So that doesnt make any sense lol!

But I did like it. And with him moving to 7-10 thats better for me because with the chris's and george's shows very similar, it was annoying for them to be so close togethor :?

Lauren Laverne's not bad on 6 Music actually. This however caught my eye:

Adam Buxton and Joe Cornish's award-winning 6Music Saturday morning show will start an hour later, at 10am, as will Liz Kershaw's lunchtime slot.

(Richard) Bacon will be on 6Music from 3pm to 5pm on Saturdays, and be followed by Jon Holmes, who moves from the 2pm slot.

Good Stuff then Richard Bacon on 6 Music & Jon Holmes now on in the evening. I did have a bit of a bad feeling that when I read that Bacon will now be doing 3-5pm that they had outed Holmes. Glad they haven't although just hope he doesn't overstep the mark again like he did on Virgin Radio now that he's on at a later time (anyone want any of those shows PM me)

As usual bradcali, your quotes are crap. I listened to his show today where he explained what was happening. Basically he was struggling to do both his radio show and his tv work (I prefer him on the radio to be honest) so one of them had to go. As tv work is alot better paid, doesn't take a genius to work out which one he chose :D

'booted' is a load of crap, he 'chose' to move to weekends.

Like Johnny said though, Laverne isn't too bad, Richard Bacon however is. He covered last week for Cerys Matthews, and I found it pretty dire.

Oh really? He's good on Five Live from what I've heard. Perhaps if it's his own show he'll make more of an effort.

Ah right I see, I suppose that's his Five Live side coming out there, sometimes you have to be rude & stand offish with the people who phone in to those talk radio stations, George Galloway's on Talk Sport is rather good as some of the morons that phone him up are unbelievable.

George Galloway might get on quite well with morons.

Maybe initially, but the morons would soon get bored with his limitations.

OK we'll replace George Lamb with, erm, Adam & Joe then :)
