We had a good result on Tuesday against Charlton - our home form is always a bit ropey and to beat the promotion favourites (well one of them) 2-0 is as good as we could have hoped for.

well they were complaining that we've not raised public awareness, or made a big enough fuss of it - so i'm guessing that if we make as much fuss as possible through any media then it may make a difference, and the effectiveness of facebook groups is certainly proved (albeit massive support is required). Also chris is in support on it, so i thought it warranted a post in the football thread

Yeah right. If England don't get the World Cup its because FIFA hate them. Probably nothing at all to do with the recent Millwall v West Ham game. Or the 2008 UEFA Cup final held in Manchester. Ask the Union Flag waving Scottish morons what kicked that off, they'll tell you the infrastructure fell apart with bad and over-zealous security and big screens that didn't work.

Personally, I think England will get it anyway.
