My mate and I were having a discussion over who's better between Didier Drogba and Carlos Tevez. I argued that Drogba was, despite his cheating, because he's a quality striker - so I was wondering the opinion of any football fans on here. Ta.

I think Tevez because even if he doesn't score, he always seems to play a part in City's goals. He is more of a team player, doesn't seem to cheat and just seems to enjoy playing football. Not always looking for free kicks or penalties, seems to just get on with it.

Drogba is probably the better striker but if i had to choose which I wanted in my team i would choose Tevez because he does so much more. He works tirelessly and creates so much more for the team than Drogba ever does - and this might easily be bollocks but my impression has always been that Tevez's teammates (and fans) like, respect and appreciate him whereas Drogba seems more aloof from the rest of the team and the crowd.

The better striker ie goalscorer is without doubt Drogba but Tevez is a genius all round footballer who will make and score goals at important times so Carlos for me.

As a goalscorer (which if you're gonna define it as striker, is what we're looking at) Drogba is better. That is based purely on form over recent seasons. He is a complete * but is still a great player.

Drogba's a total tadger, but he's still miles better when it comes to actual football ability than Tevez. In fact, I hate Drogba purely because he's so good and yet such a * and a cheat. He's good enough that he doesn't need to be.
