I used to know Nik Kershaw back in the early 80's, he was from Ipswich and used to be in the same gig circuit as the bands I was in. My keyboard player was desperate to be in his band because we all knew it was only a matter of time before he started making money. He's very very ickle, a teeny-tiny Pop-Star-In-Your -Pocket, I used to piss him off saying that his record company would probably try to give him away free in a packet of cornflakes.......he didn't mind though, he knew I was only jealous!

I have no idea what he is doing, or where he is these days. My keyboard player is a very succesfull sports journalist though.......

My mum's nextdoor neighbour was going out with Kevin Rowland when Come On Eileen came out.

He was one of those people I could never decide if I fancied or not. He was possibly nice looking, but equally possibly revolting - couldn't decide.

Zoot's a busy man these last couple of weeks, he likely didn't have time to look through the thread before he posted.

Bob said nominations run until Thursday to give people time to get their choices in, as it started late. Guess he must not have been around to do it, I'm sure it'll be up and running soon enough.

Poll is up! Sorry about the delay, was having a family meal to celebrate my Mum's birthday!

My choice this week is Bruce Springsteen with Dancing in the Dark. I posted the Glastonbury version for the hell of it :D

My vote went for Queen by the way, mainly due to the hilarious video and its subsequent banning in ultra-conservative America :)

Hmm... Only 9 votes this time round, English Bob, it may be time to advertise these games in your signature strip, if you're not doing so already.

Yep, more people are nominating songs than voting at the moment!

That's what I find a bit odd, there's 15 songs & now only 13 votes.

English Bob I think you may have to add a signature link to help boost this somewhat.
