I went for The Cure. When my lil' bro and his band were interviewed on local radio he chose that song to play and said it was his favourite ever bassline, then he said that he'd inherited his love for The Cure from me and added "she's responsible for most of my musical tastes." I was so proud

Same here, however I went for Bonazoid's choice not because Bonazoid voted for mine but I think that is The Police's best song.

Damn work, gutted I missed this - it's my year!

I'd have chosen the winner, Down Under, which was #1 when I was born.

Although despite loving that song, I had always wished I'd come along two weeks later and had Billie Jean instead. Which would have been my nomination here actually.
