Hey everyone reading this.
I don't know if there are rules against this as I haven't posted on this forum properly for 6 years but...

If you like your music and have a spare 25-30mins, listen in to my podcast dedicated to unsigned acts.
It's being hosted here http://www.stephenshort.os9.co.uk

My aim is to promote unsigned talent that I have come across in my travels around the internet and other media sources (mainly MySpace to be honest).
I will try to put out a 30 minute podcast every month or 2, featuring 4 or 5 bands and some idle chit-chat in each one.

If you have any suggestions for features I could start up to keep the show fresh and entertaining or if you know of/are in an unsigned act then get in touch and let me know!

Please feel free to let me know what you think of my podcast and any ways in which I could improve it.

-----

P.S. I will try and contribute to this forum if I feel I can but I do hate it when people use forums etc to abuse each other simply because it's safe to hide behind the screen/keyboard but I will remain positive for the time being...

Howdy Stephen and welcome back.

There's not really much abuse these days. Most folk get on pretty well. If anyone gets a slagging, its just cos they deserve it - it's soon forgotten about. Just cos it's maybe not "aww how amazin are you? haha! lol! xxxx" doesn't mean it's abusive. Frankly, I think it's more like real life than a lot of other forums I've seen.

I'd also like to say that I think I treat my friends in real life much the same as I do everyone on here.

Stick around - it's an ok place this. :)

Its ok as long as you aren't over-sensitive. There's nothing wrong with a bit of friction, it keeps things moving.

Friction is a derived force which acts to resist the motion of contacting matter by converting the kinetic energy into thermal energy - in the simplest of situations this would reduce the overall kinetic energy of an object, but in more complex examples and situations it can be, and is, used to increase the overall kinetic energy of that object.

Chances are he won't see this thread since it's been moved to Ramble which is a shame. He's cute :) (or at least the person in the photo is!)

I thought it had been deleted actually but was looking through my old posts and saw it had been moved...
I am indeed before your time Topher, but I definitely remember your name! In fact, do you have the same avatar?
There's quite a few names I recognise actually. I couldn't believe it has been so long since I "left". Time has gone far too fast!

And that is me in the photo, but it's one of those professionally done ones that would make anyone look good!
