I think at least one show in the Chris Moyles & Mark and Lard archive features Noel Gallagher, I think it's the one from December 2002. The only other one (that hasn't been edited) is from mid June 2004, on the latter pages of the said thread (link in my sig)

If you stopped being a sarcastic smart-arse for a moment and did a little research of your own you'd soon discover that there is an unofficial method of downloading a radio show in mp3 format from the iPlayer.

Well, that's how I do it on a daily basis. But then again I did choose to work out how do it for myself rather than waiting for someone else to come along and wipe my arse for me. Do the work you lazy little shit.

In case we've all forgotten, this is the Sound/Video Request forum, the purpose of which is to allow people to request sound and video clips of Chris Moyles for their own enjoyment and for our archives (as in when, after seven days, it stops being available on the iPlayer) - I don't think people making use of this really deserves such harsh treatment.

Really? You worked out how to trick the iPlayer system into believing that your client is an iPhone? Or did you wait for 'someone else to come along' and do that for you?

No, I went on Google and searched for "download iPlayer to iPod" or something similar, rather than as the OP did, making sarcastic retorts to someone who offered a legitimate suggestion to me.

I have no problem with people making sound clip requests on here, including people like the OP who use the forum for nothing else. But if someone requests something that's still on the iPlayer and takes a potshot at me when I suggest the iPlayer to get it, then I'll take a shot back. Nothing harsh about that.

You're right, he should have known instinctively that there would be some work-around for a service that has been specifically designed not to be downloadable, download and learn how to use the software (which is actually in breach of the iPlayer's Terms and Conditions) and then download and learn how to use some audio editing software so he can clip and download an interview to his iPod, as opposed to just requesting it from people that already know how to do all of that, like he already did.

He was mildly sarcastic whilst pointing out that your suggestion wasn't adequate for his needs, while you were pointlessly insulting and obnoxious - certainly sounds harsh to me.

Or he could have decided not to make a smart-arse response to someone giving a genuine answer to his request, which would probably be the easier option. I don't really care either way.

Well as you're a mod, I guess in future I'll have to be more careful to tailor my responses to your interpretation of someone's posts rather than mine. I'll do my best.
