I was getting ~200kb/s earlier, although I've just tried again and am only getting 30kb/s - it may just be a temporary thing and will hopefully speed up later.

The file's above 1GB, so only premium users would be able to download it from MU.

I think that the IA servers are currently transcoding the file to other formats, so when they're done (and if they're smaller in size) I'll post them links too.

You could with 7-Zip if you have it - obviously the Windows user needs to install a copy of 7-Zip too, but then it's free and pretty much the best compression utility you can get (on Windows at least.)

I can read multi-part archives with it, but as far as I can tell I cannot create any (Windows compatible) multi-part archives with it.

Yeah, for obvious reasons I was trying to keep the filesize down (that and the whole copyright infringement thing).

tried to download from the link and the torrent but its running really slow and estimating between 10 - 12 hours to fully download, any way of splitting the file in two and posting on megashare like neilt0 has done with the previous days?

I have no problem splitting the file, I just don't know if you're capable of putting it back together at the other end. However, if everyone helps seed the torrent then it should take <6 hours to download - which is what it would take me to re-upload the file (actually, as I'm currently seeding the file, it would be more like 12 hours).

Today's webcast was a mess. The stream kept going down (for everyone), and the beginning was glitch central.

Here's what I have (with approximate times noted):

25-06-09_A - 06.30 - 08.00 BBC - Radio 1 - Chris Moyles.flv
25-06-09_B - 08.17 - 08.26 BBC - Radio 1 - Chris Moyles.flv
25-06-09_C - 08.41 - 09.16 BBC - Radio 1 - Chris Moyles.flv
25-06-09_D - 09.51 - 10.04 BBC - Radio 1 - Chris Moyles.flv

If anyone has anything more complete or can fill in the gaps, please share. I'll upload what I have and put links in this post.

I've got 6:30-7:50 and 9:15-10:00. I'll upload the later later. I'm also altering my script to restart my download if it quits before 10:00, so this shouldn't happen again.

Edit: My recording of today's stream from ~9:05 -> 10:00: -

What do you guys think about this show - is it worth the download in terms of quality? Megaupload is a pain in the arse for me (it's dog slow and the queueing system screws up my download manager), so I don't want to waste too much time on it if it's unwatchable.

However, I'm a bit of a completist so feel loathe to skip it altogether. :D Can anybody who's already watched the other parts share any opinions?
