Trifle is the wrong thing to contemplate if you wish to lose weight.

Ok - but don't come whining in here when you haven't lost weight. I am often amused by how people think that they can successfully lose weight without actually denying themselves anything. You really can't you know..........

I don't know about not denying yourself stuff as such, I've found that I've lost weight since I've moved out of my mum's house puerly because our diet habits of changed - we cook all the time, never buy processed foods (except sausages I suppose), a take away is a special pay-day treat, we buy lots of fresh veg etc because we have a tiny freezer (That was the original reason, we wouldn't go back now) and we've never deep-fried food. We don't deny ourselves stuff, because it's one of the few things we really enjoy and can actually afford, but I think we eat very well and balanced. If we fancy a spag bol for tea, then we will make one from scratch. it's much more fun because the chances are it will always come out slightly different, unlike the 'taste by numbers' form a frozen pack.
Also helps having a great farm shop about a mile down the road.

Yes. I was indulging my obsessive compulsive persona for a moment.

You mean like Charla "I've just had a McDonalds but it's OK because I walked there and back" lottie?

And anyone who chats happily about drinking a bottle of wine and then wonders why their diet and exercise routines aren't working!

Actually not Charla, because she never moans about her weight and as far as I am aware she is happy with her body. Lucky girl.

I know several people who would fall into that category to be honest.

I've decided to try and get in on these fun and games now that I'm home. I just did a 3k run (short I know, but I've not ran in ages and I'm quite unfit) 49 press ups (my arms gave in before I hit a 50th) and 50 sit ups. I feel like I'm dying now, but hopefully it'll all be worth it!

I was swimming every morning too. I have no idea why I never went down a dress size it was quite frustrating at the time then I went on the cruise and with 24 hour food available it all went to pot.

I can't understand how you could lose 32lb and not actually shrink.

Well I think I probably would have gone down at the top but I didn't lose weight off my boobs so going down a size was a problem for them and I did shrink just not enough to go down a size i guess. I don't really know anyway I didn't get it myself, I was losing weight and my trousers were getting looser but just never enough for one damn dress size!
