It's all in the arms.

Yeah, I'm another fan of Mr McIntyre.

Good interview then. I'll listen soon. I've always liked that Michael MacIntyre fella, he's such a cheeky boy.

I'll give him Juan Knill - even though he'll have to find better ways to shoehorn league two Bury into a routine.

He was actually great in this morning, fake or otherwise. He quite suits live radio I think.

I'll put my words into a humble pie and eat it with a side order of hat.

I like Michael Macintyre, very funny man and a great guest, I know it may be unpopular but I cant stand Davina, sorry, best way to listen to her is with her mouth wired shut I find so annoying, even more than Carrie, and thats saying alot!!

Two reasons why some people hate him, me included. 1.) Is that his real voice? 2.) He recently came out saying he doesn't like Big Brother, which would be a good thing, but considering he hosted the Little Brother/Big Mouth Show for a while, which got him national TV exposure, seems a bit two-faced.

Apparently they edited out another part of the TV BAFTA's, Macintyre's set was going terribly, he was dying on his arse, noone was laughing. Graham Norton apparently said the line 'Michael Macintyre? One foot in the grave?' and the audience laughed their heads off.

Thinking about it, Norton's comment may have been why he was angry after the BAFTA's, not Moyles' impression.

No one gets a laugh at the BAFTS'S though. Industry awards shows are the toughest crowds out there, they won't laugh on principle.

Surely there are people that the show should turn down when they ask to come into the studio? I've just given up on mondays show about 2 hours in after Oasis because Jerry Springer was on next. Did anyone/does anyone actually like anything he does?

Personally I find Jerry Springer fascinating - you only have to hear the "CV" that Chris read out to realise what a varied career he's had. Although as you'd stopped listening you'll have missed that.

I'm sure there are people they turn down, but I doubt they do it on the basis that you don't like them.

Jerry Springer is an incredible man with a fascinating story to tell. One of the most intelligent and incisive American political commentators we have seen in mainstream media, and he has a thoughtful and illuminating take on the current situation in this country too. And he was brilliant on the show yesterday.

daveisshiny, your preconceptions are misleading you.

I think a lot of people just see him as a trashy TV host and don't really see beyond that or realise what he's done prior or since.

I knew he'd been a mayor, but I'd no idea he'd been an aide to Kennedy (Bobby, as it turns out, not JFK as I'd originally assumed). Fascinating guy. Much as I hate the show, I'm also tempted to try and find his episode of Who Do You Think You Are on the basis of yesterday's interview.

Interestingly enough, Springer's episode was the one where he went back to the Nazi concentration camps where his family were killed, and for all Chris's admiration expressed yesterday, surely it was the one which spawned those infamous comments?

I saw this episode, it was brilliant and I would definately recommend watching it if you can find it (possibly UK Gold or Watch will reshow it?)

I'm not ashamed to admit me included.

I listened to it in the end, and on the basis of that one appearance I feel he said nothing to back up anything you said nor earn my adulation. I guess i should look at some of the other work he has done; i hear Jerry's Naked Rumble #4 is good.

Nobody expects you to give him adulation, however if you heard the show and still only see him as just a trashy TV host, then you obviously weren't listening.

I'm looking forward to Lewis Hamilton tomorrow. He listens to the show too so he should 'get' it.

I am not looking forward to Katie Perry though.

EDIT: Although he's rubbish, I will be listening to Mills this afternoon, hopefully to catch Derren Brown on there, should be a good guest, would love to see him!

Only tuned in half way through but so far I think Lewis has been a good guest.

Asking lots of questions as if he was a genuine listener years ago....and seems to get the show straight off.

I've always been confused about the hate towards Lewis Hamilton. From what I've read, most of it seems to be centered around the fact that he moved out of the UK to save tax. Most British F1 drivers have done this, but he seems to have made the mistake of trying to cover it up by saying it was to get some privacy or something. Is this why people dislike him so much, or is there another main reason I'm not aware of?

His accent is starting to take on an American twang too.

What do you mean 'changed'? did you know him in great lengths before he became famous?
