At which point my bus turned up & I boarded, stupid chavvy twats

A few years ago (and sometimes now) I often heard the word "total" being substituted for "totally". Is that just a Scottish thing?

Dev heads to Radio 1 weekends
BBC 1Xtra early breakfast presenter Dev is to host weekend breakfast on BBC Radio 1, starting on July 1st.

Dev, who has been at 1Xtra since the station launched in 2002, replaces Nick Grimshaw who has since moved to evenings on Radio 1.

Dev says: "This is a very exciting chapter in my broadcasting career and something I have been working hard towards. I'm over the moon about joining the Radio 1 family and look forward to brightening up peoples mornings on the weekend!"

Ben Cooper, Deputy Controller, Radio 1 and 1Xtra, says: "BBC 1Xtra is a fantastic place for new presenters to establish themselves and Dev has done just that. I'm keen for talent to grow on 1Xtra and move through to Radio 1 so I'm delighted to welcome him onboard."

As a result, 1Xtra's breakfast show with Trevor Nelson and Gemma Cairney will now start at 7am each weekday.

No, early breakfast on 1Xtra is currently 6-8am. Presumably they'll extend the 4-6am slot to 7am.

Sorry this is my first post but I got pointed in this direction as I am looking for Colin Murrays last show to download. I was away for a couple of weeks and managed to miss it and it's no longer on iplayer.

Soooo...anyone actually listened to Grimshaw since he took over? Seems my fears about Grimshaw being pushed on the Radio 1 audience came true. Noticed he gets a mention in the lineup 'Stay up with Grimshaw' and they are actually playing a trail for his show, filled with typical Grimshaw soundbytes...'Massive!'

Colin didn't get included in the day's lineup, or get a daily trail...how come?

No I haven't heard a single show, then again the only time I ever listened to late night/early morning Radio was Jon Holmes/Mark Fox on Virgin Radio back in 2001 & Chris Moyles on Capital FM in 1997.

As for why Colin didn't get the promotion, I imagine that it could be that he's a bit more "famous" the Grimshaw, maybe even Edith promoted his show daily on her show. To be honest I'm not sure.
