Very random.
We have had garden open days here sometimes, I've brought my Mum here then, but that's it.

Personally I view work as a means of getting away from the family. It defeats the purpose to drag any relations along. Or it could just be me because I'm a grumpy old moo.

I wouldn't bring mine to work, for a start they wouldn't like my boss

It may be that they wanted to visit his work place so he bought them along, he's not the first anyway, Aled's Mum & Dad were in the studio for his birthday when he had the "Aled Hayden Show" on his birthday.

If they were visiting him then its not all that out of the ordinary that he would want to show them where he works. I just wish it was somewhere else.

A couple of you on here really hate him don't you

I suppose he doesn't really offend me because there are far more irritating arseholes where I work, so compared to them he's not annoying at all ;)

Oh you poor sod ;)

In our department we have a mother & daughter working together (both doing more or less the same job) and they argue every so often about non work related things. It's quite funny to watch sometimes, only because the daughter is rather cheeky with her replies to her mum sometimes :D

Ive nothing against Fincham, but i still find it really strange, like we have family days a couple of weekends a year but no one has brought their parents to work into the offices before, like if you were a prison officer would your bring your parents into the prison?

Very good point. Maybe he got dropped to work by them, like a young child being dropped to school with a pack lunch :D

Well we've never had brong your parents to work, but then working on Radio 1 on a highly successful show is a different ball game I feel

My mum went to see me in a Dragon boat race with work colleagues and also has met me in the pub once for someone's leaving do - but that's because the person in question was also my stepsister's ex-boyfriend. I wouldn't take my parents to work, no. I try not to take my dad anywhere.

It just wouldn't be right if this thread hadn't descended into comments about each others mums. Especially foots.

I like the irony of offspring saying that.
