Back when Chris was on Capital and early mornings on Radio 1, he used a jazzy piece of music as a bed. He used it after the 1st song.

It's in this clip from the sound vault:

It's 1:28 seconds into the clip.

What is the music?... It's been driving me crazy.

Cheers,

Steve

P.S. If you know the old afternoon show opener (1,2,3,4 opener) tell me

Hi steve,
I don't know the music from the Capital FM clip, but the old afternoon show opening music reminds me of some old Wayne's World track. Well the drums do at least.

I think it was one of the Tia Carrere songs, Ballroom Blitz or something but sped up quicker.

I'd say that the afternoon opener would be by someone like Napalm Death, they're quite well known for quick, short tracks (short as in 2-8 seconds long), so it may be them.

As for the Capital FM show (that's one of my very early edits that I hope to revisit sometime in the near future) I'm not sure, but others have used it (including GMTV once for a trailer/promo, I remember that as I heard it & instantly though of Moyles)

Cheers for the reply. Not Napalm Death though. I listened to loads of clips of ITunes. Too heavy.

But I did do a search for the GMTV thing on youtube and found some stupid "Get outta bed" song. It sounded similar, but wasn't it.

It does sound very similar to Blitz, but I searched around loadsa versions of it, but couldn't find the right one. Damn good spot though, woulda never guessed Ballroom Blitz.

Cheers lads. If you ever do come across anything, (Even in a year) let me know. It's absolutely wreckin' my head.

Same for anyone else.

Cheers,

Steve

I knwo where you're coming from, there's several used between 1999-2003 that I'd like to know the name of but haven't a clue, I should do a "compliation mix" of the ones I'm after really.
