Ah there was a fella we spoke to (and followed for a bit, believing him to be transporting Aled) driving a silver Nissan van who looks a bit like the person in your avatar.

Haha, you'd make them run up the hill for their tickets? Nice.

I managed to beat the traffic at Woughton and managed to get 4 wristbands (I was just passing on the H8 when they mentioned it the location)... however, I dont think i will be able to make it as I've got an early flight to Amsterdam tomorrow morning and need to be London tonight.

if your are interested in going please contact me with offers at:

Sorry tickets have now gone. Thanks.

I thought that they were non transferrable and you couldn't sell them on?

That's what chris said anyhoo - probs to discourage ticket touting.

Just for good measure, ramble and moan cos i can't go.

The Big Weekend ones you cant, they have your names before issuing tickets, so are able to get your name printed on them, these ones though, i'm guessing as they are handed out in the street, wont have any names on them.

It is still a completely arsey thing to do though isn't it? To get free tickets just to make a measley few quid? And no, your story about your girlfriend can't go blah blah lie lie blah blah.........what a tool.

Oh i absolutley agree, Yudster. I'm willing to bet he never comes back to this site, and if he does, it will be only to post some abuse in this topic. I'm sure one of his mates could have taken them off his hands, or family. The fact he signed up here to sell of them tells us he/she had no intention of going in the first place.

As lovely as all this is - I need to set the record straight because I will get into a lot of trouble from this version of what happened. Topher and Cat are on my guestlist. Each team is given a couple and my friends couldn't make it.

I just appreciate all the loyalty some of the members of this website have to the show so I gave them my allocation :)

And that was only because I know they post so much. Using CM.net is not some magic phrase that gets you past the BBC's very fair and honest ticket allocation!! :)

I'll let you know if they sing :)

Aled, that was brilliant! It was so sweet of you to do this for them and we all appreciate why you felt the need to explain how they were given the tickets. I hope it's a great night for you all and if Toph and Cat sing, record it or take video, please. xxx ~ D.

Someone who uses this forum contacted me and kindly offered me £40 for all 4 tickets, which i accepted.

I dont live in MK, just work here and commute from the Midlands... so I didnt really have a big list of local friends/family who could have gone. (and none of them were regular listeners to the show).

I know most of you wont believe me but everything i said was true - i really wanted to go tonight and tried rearranging things but it simply wasnt feasible.

I had numerous people enquiring in the afternoon (after they had gone) so some of the readers on this forum readers did appreciate me posting here for the first time.
My conscience is clear as I know the buyer really wanted the tickets... and should hopefully enjoy the show. Obviously I'm very thankfuI to have a little extra spending for my birthday in Amsterdam tomorrow... to go along with the £260 I won on Saturday on Mon Mome.

Goodbye all... or as the dutch would say 'Doei!' (pronounced Do-we).

I can't believe you sold the tickets! You are not supposed to do that! I don't care what you say you should've offered them for nothing and not made money out of them! You should now donate that money to Comic Relief!

Still, I think it's only right to give them away - seeing as you got them free - regardless of the 'trouble' you went to to get them.

Can someone enlighten me as to where it's actually happening tonight (purely out of interest...I'm not going to go along and try to blag my way in, LOL!) I caught bits of this morning's show between 7.45 and 9.30 but not enough to hear where tonight's event is actually happening! I'm guessing one of the clubs up at the Xscape?

Thanks anyway c-kay...maybe they'll reveal all on tomorrow's show.

Made me chuckle when Aled said the name of the park he was in was 'Wor-ton' park (it's spelled 'Woughton" but pronounced 'Wuff-tun') - I remember it took me a while to get to grips with a couple of place name pronounciations when I first moved here!

Sorry this is my first post... only came on here to see if anyone had found out where it was tonight as I was intrigued. Anyways then I started to read the rest of the thread and just wanted to post a message saying how utterly ridiculous that some IDIOT sold those tickets!! He shouldn't have p*ssing taken them!! Sorry it annoys me!! I'm so fed up of ticket touts taking tickets from fans and charging them ridiculous amounts! Ok £40 isnt alot but they WERE FREE!!!

Oh and also I was slightly annoyed Aled gave out tickets before even announcing where he was! I waited in a car park ready for them to announce it and then they didnt i was gutted!!!

Also I found it funny when aled announced woughton wrong... i thought he said Walton Lake and I thought theres no lake in Walton LOL!

Oh well maybe next time i'll get tickets!!

Hope it was a wicked night! Still gutted I didnt get to go!

Yeah I suppose... but to be fair I had been listening from the beginning of Chris M show! So i reckon i (and alot others) deserved them just as much as the people who found him before he had even announced it! Just my opinion! Sorry!
