Well, it's either a management buyout, or it's Branson. I can't see it being anything that hasn't been rumoured. I wouldn't have thought it's Branson either, but I could be wrong.

Woo, so I was right! Nice to see the other teams helping a rival in need out.

As an aside, the new look Formula One pages on the BBC are interesting.

I heard a trail for the BBC F1 coverage on the Moyles show this morning, just before 9.30 - The Chain is definitely featured and the whole trail sent a shiver down my spine, it was really well done, it managed to make F1 sound exciting!

Ohh, I may have to listen again for that... what time was it?

Fantastic news about The Chain! The BBC have really given the F1 a high priority in their sports coverage, it seems to be second only to football. They also seem to have listened to the general consensus of opinion about where they need to go with their coverage, as well as coming up with their own good ideas to add to the mix - I'm very impressed so far.

I'll be getting up to watch Melbourne live and I haven't done that since Damon Hill retired.

It's a song by Fleetwood Mac, you will almost certainly know at least the famous base line at the end, which the BBC used for years on its F1 coverage until ITV took over.

I still think Damon Hill's incredible eyes looking out through a racing helmet visor is an iconic image of F1.

It has to be said Yuddy, you have a very varied taste in men.

Its just his eyes. The man looks like a ferret, but he really does have the most beautiful eyes i've ever seen on a man.

She's right though, I had it on a t-shirt - it is an iconic image.

On another note - That car on the tshirt (the '98 Jordan I believe) is my all time favourite F1 car from looks alone - stunning.

I agree it's gorgeous - but better than the Lotus from the John Player Special years?
