HI Aled, I'm trying to get hold of the podcasts from the new years day show but when I tried to get them all I could find were the best of 2008 ones. Can I get hold of them somewhere?

Essentially that's what the new year's day show was - 2008, interspersed with several montages of past years (best of the male guests, best of the female guests, around the world in Portugal, Germany and New York etc), which were on the podcasts anyway.

Thanks to you both, I hadn't realised that, so I better get on and listen to the 12 podcasts hadn't I?! I caught a bit of it on the day but by no means all of it.

Quick question for you Aled, will Radio 1 ever release some really classic Moyles shows in a form of a Podcast,from his afternoon show era?

I completely agree, that would be great. One thing I am particularly keen to get hold of is the parody of Geri Halliwell's 'Look at me' - I have fond memeories of a long drive up north, hearing that, and p*ssing myself laughing the whole journey. If chrismoyles.net can get hold of that I will be sooooo happy!

Not sure if you can answer this one at all or not (it may not be for you to comment on) but have Chris & Paddy O'Connell fallen out? Several members on here said that he seemed a bit cold towards Chris on The One Show which has made them (including myself) wonder if they've had a falling out.

I just answered very decisively for Chris on this - then realised despite thinking I know the answer, I'm speaking for him - and I'm not here to do that, so I'll edit this post and myself and say, you need to ask Chris. As far as I know... no, they haven't.

It happens occasionally - especially when there's a team outing concerned. Or when I'm out ABOUT to get really drunk - you can normally guarantee someone will come up to you at that point and go "are you Aled from The Chris Moyles Show?" lol

He has 3 faders on his desk, he loads the song into each fader and is just very skilled and starting the next fader at the correct time and fading previous tracks out.

Watching him do that, talking on air, while internally keeping count of the beats is pretty cool!

No. Licensing and rules are extremely extremely strict.

Podcast must be broadcast within the last 7 days. The only possible option would be if BBC Worldwide wanted to pick them up and sell them and I'd guess the market wouldn't be big enough for old shows while we're on air doing a 3.5 hour new show every day.

Also, I'm guessing, but wouldn't there be more of an interest for all parties involved to highlight current shows rather than bigging up old ones for brand reasons? (think old team and stuff)
