I like The Saturdays. They make good pop records.

Nothing wrong with The Stonk or Mr Bean's I Wanna be elected. Shane Ritchie and Gareth Gates efforts were bad but I draw the line at Love Can Build A Bridge.

As charity covers go I didn't think it was that bad to be honest. Certainly not the Sugababes & Girls Aloud travesty.

But then I can't stand Depeche Mode. This song is about the only one of theirs I wouldn't turn off.

Blasphemous as some people may find this, I actually thought McFly's version of Don't Stop Me Now was brilliant.

Blasphemy!!!!!!!!

I'll be honest I really dislike Queen covers as no one can match the vocal talents of the late, great, Freddie Mercury. Paul Rodgers is fine doing it but then again he has a good voice.

Foot Loose, your Comic Relief Red Nose is disproportionately small.

I'd be more worried about having a mouth that looks like a Darylea slice.

Ha, Footy the Laughing Cow!

I take it back, they've killed it. It's a charity record and not only did it only get to number two in the charts this week, but it's behind a pile of crap reworking of Dead Or Alive's original tosh.

I heard a bit of that this morning, is that seriously number 1???

Dear God, yet U2's Get On Your Boots (which is not their best single but not their worst either) only charted number 12!

The charts really are sh*te these days aren't they?

Am I going to get loads of abuse if I say I really don't like U2?

That said, you're right - the charts have been bollocks for a long time.

I don't really like U2 either. Well, not since 1992 anyway. Although I did like Vertigo, until I had heard it over and over again on the radio SO MANY times I wanted to kill Bono. This happened approximately a week before it was released, thanks to Radio 1's policy of playing new songs to death for months before you can buy them - thus guaranteeing that by the time they come out, no-one ever wants to hear them again.

I appreciate The Joshua Tree is an important record in musical history, etc etc and to be honest, I should probably like them if you take my musical tastes and then look at the type of music that U2 play, but I'm just not into them. I can't think of a single U2 song that I love, although there are a few I quite like.

not from me, I can't stand them. I'd take The Saturdays' record over almost any of U2's.

I don't like U2 either, apart from 1 or two songs I find pretty catchy.
I find them pretty samey, same as RHCP (except for the earlier albums like Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Mothers Milk, which are fantastic...)
