possibly the best match in the world.

its not worthless at all. funny how alot of the premiership teams have fallen out like a rock dropped from some height. personally i don't think they care. arsenal are still in the Champions League, so are newcastle. i suppose they don't want the hassel. its a place into euro land... its worthless to top flight, but divisions 1,2 & 3- it must mean alot.

Means alot to us. We drew 1 all with Portsmouth which was good as they are on form at the moment and we're not.

Well said Adam, I went to the final in 2000 when Leicester beat Tranmere and it was one of the best days of my life. These people who think it is 'worthless' should just stop entering the competition.

It wasn't worthless when we won it, and if Everton won it I'm sure you'd change your tune.

no if everton won it i would be very happy but in a way it would still prove my point. a competition is worthless in my opinion if some of the teams most likely to win it dont try an compete. the best teams in this country (and even some lower division teams aiming for promotion) simply dont care about this trophy. if everton got knocked out i'd shrug an not really care but if we lost in the league i'd be more unhappy.

the true sadness is that the fa cup is heading that way an i think the only way to save it is to give the winners a champs league place....

I think giving a champions league place to runners up etc is silly anyway. Its devalued the Uefa Cup.

yeah the uefa cup is quickly becoming worthless except to scottish teams also. even souness said it was a "distraction"

Well to be honest it's ridiculous how Ipswich managed to get into the UEFA cup, but if it was Leicester I wouldn't be complaining.
