Just renewed my xbox live for a year at the cost of £34. Xbox all the way baby. Plus you can't get Gears of War on the ps3.

I'm a bit behind (only been playing the first GoW for about 2 months), is Gears 2 as good as the first one? I've heard multiplayer is better and the chainsaw bayonet isn't as * annoying to use as the first one...

Beadle - you played that Lord of the rings -conquest demo online? That multiplayer is good, although the whole game got nothing but shit reviews.

Zoot I played the demo, but it seemed a bit easy and the game play wasn't unique. Shame as I love LOTR too. To be honest there's not many games that are worth playing online other than Cod4 Gow1&2 I keep buying diff games and nothing really cuts the mustard. Not multiplayerwise anyway. There's a new Aliens game coming out in a few months so I'll be holding out for that one for suuuuure.

If you need help with your gow campaign give us a shout. I know how to kill the baddies and where the cog tags are, and where the weapons are, and how to defeat the big boss' and and and i think i'm going to scream like a little girl woooooooo!

I've been watching out for Aliens - Colonial Marines for ages although it's been put back till the last quarter of the year. Really looking forward to it, should be ace. Batman Arkham asylum looks very good too, but I don't think it'll be multiplayer.
