Hi Site Admin,

I need to get hold of Chris for his Mount Kilimanjaro trip/challenge. We would like to sponsor a Sleeping bag for his trip:

I can't help thinking that anyone who was genuinely in a position to be offering a corporate type sponsorship for something like this might be professional enough not to make their initial approach on a fan site...........

It's just lazy, I bet if you google the name this will be one of the top ones and as such an easy ask.

I think stalking is probably a better way to speak to him though.

Oh and I don't think he uses that email. I might be wrong but they suffix the surname with a number I think for more personal and professional use, so I would try chris.moyles1@bbc.co.uk, all the way up to chris.moyles100000000000@bbc.co.uk just to make sure you reach him.

Nah.... That mail address does get through to him. I imagine its highly filtered, and 99% of his inbox is deleted without reading, but.....

May very well do.... Can't really see Chris bothering himself with that job.... I would still assume that being an international mega-star, as Chris is, he must get so much bumph through to that address though....

I've had mail contact with BBC peeps before now, just using the generic firstname.lastname@bbc.co.uk..... Historically, up and coming DJs/support staff are far more likely to respond to mail recieved, for obvious reasons. (I.E. Aled/Rachel or Greg James...)

Yeah, I'd imagine emailing Rachel might be more productive.

Rachels lovely. I agree with Chris, the Kiddy accent leaves a little to be desired, but so does pretty much any midlands accent (mines lazy-Leicester for Jeffs sake). But end of the day, I imagine that to only really be a problem when it comes to 'pillow talk'....!!!
