did a saturday show. Even if it was recorded. Say 1-4 and a mid afternoon laugh on a generally boring saturday i know it's a long shot. But if we all show support for this. Maybe aled will notice and ask the powers at be and maybe show chris that we'd love too here more of him.

When has the current presenter of the flagship show also done what is a generally low listening figure show on a Saturday? Regardless of how many on here wanted it, it'd never happen.

If you are expecting Chris Moyles to take a step backwards in his career and do a Saturday show again, then you are definitely existing in fantacy land.

two points though.
Why would a 6th show from the flagship d.j in the country be a bad thing. It will only enhance him.
Second. The bbc are always looking for ways too improve the ratings. What better way too put a million on the ratings in one genious move. Lets put it this way. If i was andy parfet or ben cooper. I'd negotiate for chris too do something on a saturday. Even if it was a pre recorded. show. It will easily put a million on listening figures.

Problem was that Chris & Dave got fed up with doing Saturday's and prefer it now they don't do them anymore.

They also do enough work during the weekday without having to do weekends as well. IIRC throughout the majority of their Saturday morning show they were only doing 4:00-5:45pm compared to 6:30-10:00am they do now

Who wants regular pre recorded live material?

It's not like the show is overrun with material everyday, What would chris talk about that he wouldn't have already spoken about that day?

Wouldn't it hinder new talent coming through?

Cost too much for a non primetime spot?

FULFIL MY QUESTIONS OR BE DAMNED.

Why would he need to do the extra show? It's not like he needs the money or the publicity. I'm pretty sure he probably values his weekends.

I think this demonstrates one of the many reasons that you are not doing either of Andy Parfitt's or Ben Cooper's jobs.

Er, he can't because you replied after him.

I don't think the BBC - due to the unique way it is funded - could justify paying Chris and Dave the amount they would want to do a Saturday show. And why have you still not got the idea that the top rated radio presenters in the UK are not going to take a step back and down to a Saturday gig which they stopped doing years ago? Why on earth should they?
