I know Xbox online is pretty damn popular, but is anyone else on PS3 networks? It's better than Xbox!

Yeah, i'm a PS3 boy.... I appreciate its personal opinion, but I wouldn't touch an xbox. Reliability, anyone?!

Besides, they fixed the xbox overheating problem yonks ago.
Na, Ps3s are great. I just went the xbox route.

Ouch!

At the moment PS3s and Xboxes are the same, but if there could be a game that could fully harness the power of the PS3, it would pish all over the Xbox. But, until then...

When I move out I think I'll buy an Xbox, the PS3 belongs to me and my 2 brothers, so on my own I only own the minority

And I'm already stuck against a boss on Prince of Persia! Gah!

I wanted a blu-ray player. Best one on the market is the PS3. At least, that's what I told my girlfriend (although there is a certain amount of truth to it apparently)

Bonus, I get to play Call of Duty World at War and shoot Germans. I think it's a genetic thing...

I'm not a massive gamer... but is the PS3 online thingymajig free? The Wii one is... I can play Mario Kart online as much as I like for free!

Very good point about Blu-ray player though.... Makes a PS3 half price if you look at it that it comes with BRP included. xbox may be £129.99 now, but its another £150 for a Blu-ray player!!

I made a late decision to get a PS3 due to the Blu-Ray thing, it was all part of the deal for my new telly, I'm now off to gamestation to get a good deal on Fifa09, and will be acquiring wireless at some point, happy days.

Ive had my PS3 over a year but only started using it online a few weeks ago. Now I play CoD4 online all the while. It's great and for free, you can't complain. Playstation@Home is good aswell, if I cant be arsed to play a proper game, I just go on there and play someone at bowling or pool.

Honestly - I don't care. As far as I'm concerned they're on a par these days. Difference is I got so good at Fifa so quickly about 10 years ago that I got bored with it and switched. I STILL haven't mastered Pro Evo. Although I do play games a hell of a lot less than I used to.

Ah fair enough. To be fair part of the reason I hated Pro Evo so much was that I was apocalyptically shit at it. Fifa at least I can handle.

Also, if apocalyptically isn't a word then it is now. Booya.

Not a big loss as far as I'm concerned. The fact we get Metal Gear Solid far outweighs that.

I'll take your word for it, I played Gears of War and didn't like it so I'm not even gonna bother with Resistance. I heard the first one sucked too, so meh.

gow is good cos is better. cod 4 though not really liking cod5 multiplayer not a big fan of the old guns.

I'm told Resistance 2 is fantastic. I don't know, I haven't played it, but none of the recommendations I've been given so far have been bad.

I've not played CoD5 yet, but I'm still content with CoD4 so I won't be buying it for a while yet.

Also, for both PS3 and Xbox gamers out there - Prince of Persia is fantastic.
