Following our post last week we're happy to present a few more shows from forum member Johnny's collection. This group includes an edition of the now-legendary 'Saturday Show' as well as a rare chance to hear Chris before he joined Radio One.

All shows below have had their music removed and are ideal for uploading to mp3 players.

18th Sep 2001 Radio One Afternoon Show [download] - All the links from the show, with Chris, Dave, Lizzie & Will as well as Dominic reading the news. Frequent references to Will's letter to Ariel Magazine, features included: I Fancy My Boyfriends Brother & Describe The Person In The Car Next To You

11th Nov 2000 Radio One Saturday Show [download] - Note, this recording only contains the first half of the show. In what was a novelty for Chris, he's sober which he normally wasn't on Saturday mornings ... allegedly. An early appearance by Rachel, who at this point was the Broadcast Assistant is rather jolly throughout & Producer Richard is also there (the one who doesn't speak).

11th Sep 2000 Radio One Afternoon Show [download] - Note: The last 15 minutes of this show is missing. Chris & Dave return after two weeks off on holiday, Rhys is still away, but Melinda is there.

14th Feb 2000 Radio One Afternoon Show [download] - This file is the Chris Moyles Radio One afternoon show recorded on Monday 14th February 2000. The show is a Valentine's Day special, with Chris and the team discussing the over-commercial nature of the celebration. The music has been removed.

9th Mar 1997 Capital FM Show [download] - First half of the Late Bit from Sat 9/3/97 with special guest Andre Vincent, Producer of The Bob Mills Show on Channel 4 (remember that?). Chris discusses the Information Super Highway (Internet) and slags off The Spice Girls, how times change eh?

Psst! I think the date is slightly out on the Capital show.

But otherwise, absolutely cracking, cheers!

No problem, I did check the lottery numbers (which I've left in at the beginning) on a website that lists all lottery draws since it began in 1994 (so there are sites on there without porn, who knew eh?) and I hope I've chose the right date. :?

Hope you and others enjoy them :D

EDIT: Ah I see the date is correct after all

Absolutely 100% agreed. They were also some of the best of Moyles' shows in my opinion.

I liked the Saturday shows, just because they were so random at times. My favourites though were still the Friday shows when Jon Culshaw was part of the team

Calling all Super Geeks!

I'm listening to the Satuday show with Rachel.....what's that clip Chris played at the start which is a woman on the phone saying "Chris Moyles you're a...." possibly Tosser.....I used to listen to quite a few Saturday shows as it was usualyy the time I got up but I don't remember that or where it came from?

Anyone know?

EDIT: How Different does Rachel sound? She sounds like a teenager!

It's either Chris Moyles You're A... "Tw*t", "C**t", "Sh*t" or "Prat" although the last isn't a swear word, the sound byte itself dates back to early 2000 & was used on one of those compilation clips he used back then (don't know the name of the bed music, all I can remember is that & the time I got fed up with it but listen back realised what a good piece of music it was). It's also used at the start of the bed music for the September 2000 show but haven't a clue to it's origins, remembering the jingles back from January 2000-at least May 2000 they were complied from the week previously although some were replayed over & over again.

As for Rachel, I honestly can't remember if she did sound like that or the tape has stretched a bit, the walkman I'm using is over 20 years old, in good working order but plays ever so slightly faster, as you can tell with Chris' & Dave's voices. Having said that though because she was the BA at the time perhaps she had a more jollier tone compared to when she became Producer?

Picking shows at random from my archive I realise I have plenty with Melinda (although the 1999/early 2000 stuff he's off ill alot), Will, Lizzie (when you hear her on air), and alot more morning shows, most from 2006, so plenty of Aled, Rachel, Dominic & Carrie, but only one with Juliette (the first breakfast show, unless she guests on one or two of the afternoon shows, don't know yet) & hardly any Rhys, on two shows from his era Producer "Mad" Mick Meadows fills in for Rhys & at the first two 1999 shows I posted I think both are Producer Richard (who said sod all anyway & he's part of the Saturday team as well so whatever I've got of him on the air on those very rare occasions I'm lucky to have), so unfortunately if your a fan of Rhys I possibly only have 7 shows at the most with him on (if he's on all of them).

Also Realised I have the first day from New York 2005 in full, the "Christmas Show" (well it's Friday 23rd December 2005, not sure if they did a pre-record for Christmas 2005 or not) & for some reason five shows from August 2006 (I have no idea why but it'll be interesting to listen & find out).

The 14th February one is the best so far. Very very funny - favourite bit has to be the caller who agrees with Valentine's Day - 'well, you're a loser and I don't want you calling my show again, bye!'

 Yeah I like that bit as well as, I can't remember if it's that show or another one where someone calls up & he doesn't understand them so he says to the caller "sorry I only speak the Queen's English" to which the caller replies "oh ok then, bye" really sarcastically  funny how two years later (2002) on the Afternoon show he was complaining about losing listeners

I hope to have a few more up this weekend including a few from late 2001 (all Friday shows, about 5 of them so Culshaw overload) a couple from 2002 & only other show apart from the last show that I recorded in 2003, it's from April so Will is still present :D

Adding to yesterday's post (above) I have actually got a show where he declares they've been crap & they balls up quite a few times, from Friday 2nd August 2002. I'll try & get that one up for the weekend :D

I have some bad news on this, although it has the balls ups there is no rant about how crap they are or listeners versions of "Will's Music" which I though all were on this disc.

I'll explain more on the other thread :D

That's incredible, I'm listening to the 18th September 2001 one and I'm remembering the links, especially the Ariel letter from WIll!

The show intro as well, I had completely forgotten about that!

I know it's really odd listening to them again & remembering them, especially if you can remember where you where & what you were doing on the original broadcast. I have the Will Ferral interview on a Mini Disc & I remember that I was listening to the original broadcast, I was stuck in traffic on me way to work as it had been snowing the night before & both London Underground & the Highways Agencey weren't prepared for it, that was a journey & half that morning, I heard the whole show for a change :D

I'm afraid so sir. Considering yours doesnt even relate to your age (which is bloody confusing by da way), Splodge wins.

Thought so, there's nothing special about mine  I'm trying to think why I chose 1989 at the end, it must be something to do with the year I suppose, perhaps I liked songs from that year at the time? Christ knows though but I do use it on every other forum I'm on
