louis walsh is the worst! i dont disagree with his decision last night - i disagree with alll the coments he EVER makes tho. it's almost like he says stuff just to set simon up to insult him cos he's sooo dense and basically doesnt know anything about what he's meant to be talking about. makes me really mad.

seriously though, when is daniel gonna LEAVE? X

Astute observation there! They are real people tho, I think the show is so over-dramatised and theatrical that it's easy to forget that.

Yeah, but it's a case of they have let themselves in for this, X-Factor is not a new show, so they all know the drill by now. If they are prepared to risk job and reputation for a smidgen of fame, they should also be prepared for the consequences. If they've left their jobs or something to compete, then they need to be prepared that very shortly, they could be singing on if they get kicked off early.

The whole thing is fixed anyway. All that bollocks a while ago about Louis Walsh being kicked off, then he claimed he was stabbed in the back, then they let him back on... he was never ever leaving and that little stunt absolutely served its purpose to gain the show more publicity.

I tend to agree - if you volunteer yourself for all that these shows entail, you (sadly) kind of forfeit your right to be treated like a human being. Which is why I can't understand why anyone does it, although a student of mine went to the auditions for this series and was really excited about it all, so I tried to be supportive. I'm quite pleased that although she was invited back for the filmed auditions her mum wouldn't let her go because it was right in the middle of her GCSEs. Thank goodness for proper parents.

I did, of course, mean 'signing on'. It was an unfortunate error because I imagine most of them don't 'sing on' when they get kicked off.
