What are peoples views on these:

I'd be quite interested in one of these Sony reader thingys, if they weren't so expensive. Part of me thinks why bother, what's wrong with a paperback, but returning from holiday recently I got charged excess baggage (for the sake of 1Kg), so without the weight of the books this may not have happened.

Personally, I wouldn't mind one (or any of the e-readers); however, for me to spend out for one and buy the 'books' at essentially the same price as they are in paperback anyway, I can't see the point. Until new-release digital 'books' fall into a significantly lower price range I can't see many people getting one.

The price point at the moment is way too high, but I would be interested when they come down. Also it'd be far more comfortable (not so heavy) to read on a sun lounger! Always makes my arm ache, and I can never get comfy!

She had said in the weeks / months before that she hated eReader book thingymajiggers, then Waterstones start selling these things and suddenly they were the dawgs baws. Not that she is biased...
