Sir David Attenborough, Disney star Miley Cyrus, comedian Frank Skinner and band The Killers were all gonna be on Ross's show tonight. Bollocks, what a show that would've been. Bad enough theres no top of the pops to watch bands play.

Ross's book has a very appropriate title to it "Why do I say these things?" You're * asking us?? Jesus Jonathan. I don't listen to Brand so I've no idea why Woss was in the bloomin studio in the first chuffing place. The two of them are quite clearly a dangerous combination, somebody has to tell the 'talent' when enough is enough, Rachel would've sorted them out *cue Brummie accent impression*

A vile broadcast, I can only presume the reason it is pre-recorded is so they can cut out anything which is in bad taste..so..when that * up..serious questions do need to be asked and I look forward to the conclusions of all the governing bodies.

As for the Media furore, we all know what they're like, milking the 'Satanic Slut' for all shes worth. I've really no idea why 10,000 people are offended on Andrew's behalf.

Does the suspension extend to TV? I thought it was just radio?

What? Now what am I going to listen to on a saturday night?

Actually...what was there before Brand?...Paul Gambiccini I remember doing a two-or-three-parter about Queen which was extremely interesting...

They can either bring him back, or I would be happy if they decided to repeat the Queen thing

Or they could get Stuart Maconie involved (I love him)
...or Mark Lamarr
...or Phill Jupitus

actually, although I enjoy the Brand show, I love a lot of other people on R2 more-

Wogan (if it wasn't for Moyles...ie if Wogan was on at another time...)
Jeremy Vine
Dermot o Leary
Ken Bruce

(my mum and her bloke listen to R2)

That's a real shame, I enjoyed his Radio 2 shows - however I couldn't see it lasting forever what with him getting more and more well-known.

I really don't mind about Brand, but losing Wossie is a pain - but I honestly don't see how the beeb had any alternative.

It's something they've been joking about for a while now (when he was on). I think Noel was interested in getting involved too.

Whatever they do, I hope they keep it to the same target audience. They need to have someone on there to bring on the younger audience. I thought Simon Amstell did really well as his guest last week. Failing that, maybe Phil Jupitus or Mark Lamarr as you said.

(Fun quiz: Can you tell which TV programme I like?)

She's now admitted to shagging Russel haha.

The whole thing is pathetic. I cant believe how people are reacting to this. 10,000 complaints, yet 9,998 of those have come since the media got hold hold of it and blew it out of all proportion.

What a joke.

She never denied it - but its not about her is it? She isn't the one who could potentially make a police complaint, its her grandfather.

Jesus, Russel's resigned from the BBC now 8O

I like how Max Clifford is now involved as well, anyone else getting the feeling that they have whipped it into this storm themselves up for publicity????

Keep up C-Kay that happened an hour ago! I don't think they whipped it up themselves I think the media have a lot to answer for in that respect. Sky are LOVING it as it's the BBC in trouble! They are basically gloating on Sky News and have been all day!

Hardly any of the newspapers/organisations like the BBC - and I've never really fully understood why.

Is it wishful thinking to hope for Adam & Joe as Russell's replacement?

I think that all of the Russell Brand stuff should have been vetted because everyone who works for the BBC knows exactly what he is about...

They usually are vetted, and it's not Brand's fault that they broadcasted it

Yes, he shouldn't have made the call in the first place, but the producers knew what Brand was like, so therefore the producers should have decided whether he was acceptable to broadcast...

I know what ross and russell did was wrong but i dont think the bbc should have done what they did and then for him to resign.

I never listened to him on the BBC2 only sometimes vla the podcast and he was funny and also on the moyles show.

What a shame... Funny guy... and the newspapers are really screwing him and im shocked that the PM even had to have a say!!

Brown's just glad that someone else is getting stick instead of him, so he's putting the boot in while he can.

God knows why Cameron says he wants to get involved in the investigation, what a clown.

I listened to the podcast, and thought that it was a good show. It had gone down hill in the last few weeks, after the departure of Matt Morgan who seemed to be the only one able to control Russell.

I think its unfortunate that the joke got out of hand. Ultimately it was down to the producers and the BBC who should have stopped the show going out, but that was what Russells show was all about- he pissed off the guy who does the Zippy voice too but the difference there was that the Zippy guy picked up the phone rather than hear it down an answer phone.

Why is there so much talk about these two tits?

I still say it's a publicity stunt. Maybe one gone wrong, but as they say - there's no such thing as bad publicity.

Can we get Parky back on the interviewer chair now?
