The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

As of Monday October 27th Im taking the week off listening to Moyles.

The show has got a little same old latley and not as funny.

I'll use the 5 days to listen to other breakfast shows. Maybe Absolute or something local. If I miss Moyles then I'll listen again.

I am a huge Moyles fan. I havent missed a show in over 7 years.

This is a big thing for me.

Fair doos.

Thing is, having listened to what else is out there, you really don't (in my opinion) have much that can hold a light up to Moyles. Go to any of the commercial stations and you get adverts, which is a turn off straight away. BBC local is, for the most part, pish and everyone that can use the internet is waaaaay to young to listen to Wogan!

I hope to be wrong.

When Scott Mills is covering Moyles I put Virgin on, OC is better than Mills.

Ive got DAB, I'll have a listen around.

6music is a good station if you want some tunes in the morning. Adam & Joe and Jon Richardson are both good breakfast DJs on the station - but they are on Saturday and Sunday respectively so it doesn't really have any effect.

I think that the only thing that would make me change my morning listening would be if Wogan retired and was replaced with Jonathan Ross. Then I'd have a decision to make.

You are * wrong, he's great.

Although (and I am only going by the news article on the BBC web site, I didn't hear it) he was a bit off the mark with Russell Brand on Brand's radio 2 show, leaving those messages on Andrew Sachs' voicemail.

I've recently seen a cinema advert for Adam and Joe's show - sounds really funny, but adverts lie. Might check it out soon.

I think Jono Ross is funny, but only in small doses.

True, but his radio show is unscripted and I still find him funny on that.

The thing which is always so impressive about Jonathan Ross is how he works with his script, which involved anything from ignoring it and ad-libbing completely to using it as a springboard for one-liners. The basic material might be the work of a.n.other, but the thing that makes it funny is Ross.

Ergo, he isn't funny.

Surely it depends on how he delivers it, as opposed to whether he writes it or not?

So why is he paid 100 billion then? Surely a well trained gorilla could do the same job?

Also - do him and Russell Brand not have books out soon enough? And are the two of them front page news at the moment?

Odd that.

I read Russell Brand's last one, so I can see why he would think that he needs all the publicity he can get for this one.
